We had GBS choir at our church tonight. No, I was not disappointed in them! They did awesome!
Here’s the disappointment: Shaylee wanted to know who would be staying at our house for the night. I told her it would be one of the men traveling with the choir. She said, “I wish it was a young, good-looking one.” Sorry, Shaylee, we’re stuck with Don Davidson!

Oh I remember the days of those Bible school guy crushes. I was “in love” with Denzel Ball forever it seemed. And I was probably right about Shaylee’s age
I’m listening to the archive as I blog hop.

That is SO funny! I, too, always asked my folks to keep the young, good-looking ones!

I would always look to see who the cutest guys were! Perhaps I should have paid a little more attention to the songs.

I used to always pick out the cutest guy and then try to figure out who Jonathan would think was the cutest girl!
I always thought it would be so neat to walk up the aisles like they do and sing in a choir! Went to nursing school instead!
That’s hilarious though, Shaylee… Maybe next time your Mommy will request the “hunks!”

Connor hasn’t quite progressed to that point yet: he was very disappointed that girls were coming. Kent, on the other hand, was completely delighted! It took him about 10 minutes to make their acquaintance and start climbing on them!

That is funny. I can’t believe we are ready at that stage. We better hold on for a really fun time ahead of us!!
